- Claire Missingham
Namaskaram! Hello to the brand new blog with our first piece on the Thailand Vinyasa Flow teacher training retreat. Every year, Claire travels to remote and stunningly beautiful part of Thailand to teach with jungleyoga, which was set up by the wonderful Dickie and Beth, who are Americans based in Thailand. This year was special as a select few students came to do an intensive teacher training retreat with Claire, which involved 2 asana classes per day and 2 TT classes per day.
We focused mainly on creating a Sadhana journey for each person, on how to integrate their practice into everyday life and how to begin on a longer journey into teaching with the philosophies tied into this as a more natural and organic process. The retreat covered hands on adjusts, forming a class, introduction to yoga philosophy, reading and mantras.
Claire felt so blessed to have the wonderful souls along to support and uplift each other, as well as kayak meditations, a prayer water ceremony, swimming and enjoying sitting in a deep MALASANA for the thai toilet experience!!
Here are some pics of the trip, sent by Anna Josephs:

Claire wishes to thank Dick and Beth for another amazing trip (including at Railey Beach beforehand! – hello also to Mike, Grier and JK) and to Jilly at Freespirit for organizing the retreat. Namaste.
